2014 was a good year, full of travel, amazing weddings and incredible couples. I always feel so lucky I get to enter into peoples lives and document the most important day of their life. I've met so many rad people and have had opportunities to work with the best vendors in the industry. With our third baby born this year, I didn't blog often enough so I tried grabbing snippets from the weddings I documented.
2015 is going to be so good. I know it.

Yosemite is a special place and to have your wedding there is nothing short of remarkable. I had the good fortune to be able to document Jami and Aaron's wedding in the forest of Yosemite, then got to wander down into the valley for some portraits. They were such a sweet coule, so in love, and magic happened.
I loved that one of their main ideas of Yosemite for their wedding was that they plan on taking their kids back year after year and be able to say, 'this is where mom and dad got married.' I thought that was a fun thing to get to do.
See more of their wedding over on Green Wedding Shoes which featured a ton of photos!

Molly Sims is an actress, model, mom, homemaker and blogger and teamed up with Zola Registry, she curated an amazing Thanksgiving meal at the amazing Lombardi House. Food was prepared by Heriloom LA, Florals by The Velvet Garden and tabletop products supplied by Zola.
I loved the non-traditional food Molly chose and prepared by Heirloom. From Salmon, to pumpkin Lasagna cupcakes, to salad, it was incredible. Here are some pics from the day.

Julie and Paul's wedding was recently featured in The Knot Magazine and excited to finally share their photos. Everything was designed, planned and coordinated by the Sterling Social team, who I love working with. From the ceremony on a bluff, overlooking the ocean, to a gorgeous cocktail hour on the beach with a couple bars set up, a meat and cheese station to a raw bar, then finishing it off in the old barn at Dos Pueblos. Stunning event with catering by Contemporary Catering.

Soooo I've had some pretty major life things happen that have caused me to neglect my blog. We just sold our house, bought another, went straight into a remodel which is just wrapping up as we had our third baby girl (post coming soon) two weeks ago. A whole lot of hecticness and cause for me to be home more than usual helping out my wife. That's not my excuse, just explaining why there's been a lack of posts. It definitely hasn't been for a lack of shooting.
This was a wedding I just realized I never blogged and it was one of my favorites from the end of last year. Damien and Lindsay were marred at the Santa Barbara Mission with their reception held at Rancho Dos Pueblos. Simply Natural Events coordinated the day with incredible florals and design by the talented Tricia Fountaine.
I got to know Lindsay and Damien through spending some time in NYC, where they've lived, shooting their enagement photos and it was so special being a part of their wedding. If you look at the theme of the decor, you'll notice a lot of travel related things. Straight after the wedding, they left for a year long trip around the world. Tables were arranged by the different countries they were planning to visit. I was so jealous hearing about that trip. I mean, if you're going to start off your marriage right, that's the way to do it.
Hope you can see the love and emotion in the photos that was present on their day.
