I've had the privelege of shooting a few lines from Townsen but girls, this Fall line is so cute. If you don't know Townsen, go find them. Select boutiques in LA and New York and you can check ShopBop or Black Label Boutique online. Here are a few outtakes from the shoot I did for them and a little behind the scenes video at the end.

this is awesome. love the clothes, too! will definitely check them out.
I've been crazy blessed this year with the most incredible couples. I met with Tara, her mom, sister and coordinator Kelsie Hopkins over spicey margaritas in Manhattan Beach. Loved them all. I then got to go out to Boulder, CO to photograph Tara and Dustin in their hometown, which was another amazing time. You can see pics from that shoot HERE: Part 1 and Part 2.
Their wedding was so heart felt. I love being a part of destination weddings because they're always so intimate. All the guest there are close to the couple and there's an intimacy that makes the day that much more special. Hope you love the photos as much as I do!

From Tara, "we share a love for the ocean, and from day one we always wanted to get married on the beach. We also wanted a place where our friends and family could gather together and "kick it" (as dustin's friends say, haha) for several days - a place that fostered togetherness to offset the typical craziness that often occurs during the wedding week. I found Levyland Estate when perusing a wedding photographer's blog, and I knew immediately that it was the perfect spot for us. It was actually the ONLY venue that I looked at with my mom and sister! "

There's something I especially love about this Polaroid of the two of them.

From Tara, "I loved that we had a whole week at Levyland with our families and friends - it was an incredible week, from cooking large dinners at the house together, to watching the dads put up white lights in all of the trees, to the massive Costco trip. I also loved the entire feel of our wedding. At the end of the day, we both agreed it was EXACTLY what we wanted. Neither of us were overly stressed and we were able to enjoy everything."
Kelly and Niall were one of those couples I met with and there was just Chemistry right off the bat. Niall is originally from Ireland and Kelly is from London. Both are so stylish, have a ton of fun together and the entire wedding day was filled with laughter. I absolutely loved being a part of this wedding and hope you love the photos!

Here's Kelly's thoughts on what she loves about Niall, "We both have very similar child like personalities, we love to joke around and have fun. Niall is always making me laugh and I have never had anyone who has believed in me so much. As soon as anyone meets Niall they fall in love with him instantly, he has the most amazing magnetic energy, that when people meet him they cannot get enough."

"I have always loved everything vintage and wanted the wedding to feel dreamy, romantic and fun. Everyone laughed at me as I had buzz words to give people a feel of what we wanted. The main word being "whimsical". I didn't want the wedding to look too bridal or for everything to match or only have two colors only though out the decor. Thats just not Niall and myself. We both are very eclectic and wanted that reflected in the wedding. I found a new love of crafting and made loads of little handmade touches here and there, including ribbon bell bracellets for people to giggle when we tied the knot. Most of the vintage glass bottles were my own that friends and myself had collected at flea markets. But honestly I couldn't of done any of this without our event designer Tricia she managed to take my vision, pull it all together and make it even better than I could of ever managed!!!" - Kelly.

WOW! Love everything, especially that dress! Beautiful!
Braedon this is one of my favorite shoots of yours. beautiful!
I stumbled upon these photos a while back through the Cana Family Blog and absolutely fell in love with the beauty and love sewn throughout each image. Such captiviating images!
Every year, there is a big photo convention where photographers come from all over the world to see the latest and greatest new equipment or wedding goods but many come to see old friends fom across the country or globe and have a good time. I spent some money on a new system so I can now carry on my body 6 cameras and I'm pretty happy about that. But I really go out there to see old friends and make new ones. There was a lot of that this year!
I brought an old canon point and shoot which broke the first night, then borrowed one of Nate Kaiser's (Image is Found) on the second night of craziness. The color shots were Kodak Portra 160 and the rest were Kodak Tmax 400. It was a fun trip to say the least!

too damn hype! lot of buds in there!!
ok, this was the best night ever!!!!!
