A Steam Punk Wedding at Rancho Dos Pueblos

Kate and Jacob's wedding was very special to be a part of. When they booked me for their wedding, I had no idea what was coming. But when I knew they were in the hands of their mastermind designer, Tricia Fountaine, this wedding was going to be over the top, brilliant! Then when I showed up on their wedding day, I was still blown out of the water by how well everything came together. Family members, bridal party, bride, groom, down to every single guest dressed the part of this wedding. I felt like I was on a movie set. Let me know what you think of this wedding!!

This moment of Kate and her dad walking down the isle was magical. It was such a throwback to another time period and her dad looked the part perfectly!

Some thoughts from Kate about choosing their venue: "When we came to Dos Pueblos Ranch to meet with Tricia, we took a tour and fell in love immediately. The Sycamore grove really spoke to Jacob and I with a richness and beauty that took us by surprise.  Everything else just became so easy, falling into place and that’s how we knew we had found the perfect place."

The amount of detail that went into this wedding was incredible.

Wedding Songs:
Groom’s Processional: “Throne Room” theme from Star Wars
Bride’s Processional: “Hysteric (acoustic),” Yeah Yeah Yeahs
Hand Fasting Ceremony: Instrumental theme from The Princess Bride
Recessional: “Today,” Smashing Pumpkins
Reception Entrance: “Home,” Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes
First Dance: “First Day of My Life,” Bright Eyes – performed by bride’s Uncle and cousin

Lovely captures here! I've covered some wild theme weddings over here in Australia but this wedding blows them away for the attention to detail and effort. It's really inspirational so I'll be pushing a fair few brides to be to see this before their plans are set. Thank you for sharing this!
